DM vs NO

(the 1980s Depeche Mode verses New Order dual reinterpretations...)

The first of a five-part dual reinterpretation project, using chords, basslines and melodies of classic Depeche Mode and New Order singles from the 1980s.

As in all five projects, there are two main versions, an original composition, and a second mix with some extra production by producer Andy Haldane. Are People Perfect? has also been remixed by Danny Nightingale and Allen Cutler (Asnazzy).

Round Celebration
(Parts One and Two)

The fifth and final part of these dual reinterpretation projects, using chords, basslines and melodies of classic Depeche Mode and New Order singles from the 1980s.

This time, however, the track happens to be two parts - just like the classic Yazoo classic 12" single Don't Go did all the way back in 1982.
